Amy M. Clark

Amy joined the Smith & Strege Ltd. firm in August of 2011. She has a general practice with an emphasis on business planning, contracts, commercial litigation, estate planning, and family law.

Amy is a farm girl originally from Bertha, Minnesota. In 2004, she moved to Moorhead, Minnesota, where she attended Minnesota State University Moorhead and majored in Paralegal and Criminal Justice. During this time, Amy worked as a legal assistant in Fargo and interned with the Moorhead Public Defenders Office. After obtaining her undergraduate degree, Amy attended the University of North Dakota School of Law. During law school, Amy interned with the U.S. Attorney's Office and clerked during the summer at Serkland Law Office in Fargo, North Dakota. She received her law degree in 2011, at which time she graduated with distinction and was elected to the Order of the Coif and Order of Barristers. Amy also served as an associate editor of the North Dakota Law Review, as well as a Teaching Assistant for the law school's research and writing classes.

Amy and her husband, Joshua, reside in Colfax, North Dakota with their two children and their beloved Golden Retriever Charlie.
